CCAMPIS (Child Care Access Means Parents In School) Grant
This highly competitive federal grant was awarded to the College to provide childcare tuition subsidies to student-parents. The CCAMPIS grant assists Pell Grant-eligible Rockland Community College students with the cost of childcare. Parents of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, who are enrolled or are enrolling in Campus Fun and Learn Child Development Center, Inc., are eligible. In addition, student-parents will be provided significant campus-wide support. The goal of the Grant is to help these student-parents meet with success despite the challenges that they face.
SUNY Block Grant
RCC students may apply through Campus Fun and Learn for assistance in paying for their childcare tuition. CF&L receives funding from the State University of New York through the New York State Child Care Block Grant to provide child care tuition subsidies to qualifying students.
Additional Funding through SUNY Rockland Community College
We also receive funding from the RCC Student Government Association to provide childcare tuition scholarships to qualifying students. To apply, complete a Subsidy Application and return it to Campus Fun and Learn along with an official RCC Student Schedule and proof of income. Funding is limited, so applications should be completed and returned as soon as possible. Funding is only provided for the times that the RCC student is enrolled in a class. Funding cannot be used for online classes.
There are also other Scholarships available to students. Speak with the Financial Aid Office at RCC.
